DFF Announces Federal Government Contract

Dickinson Frozen Foods (DFF) announced today that it had received its first contract with the federal government. The contract allows DFF to expand its business in fulfilling different types of government product demand.

In the fall of 2007, DFF upgraded its production lines, establishing for a greater variety of product types while increasing capacity. This contract is one of the fruits of the significant investment initiatives of the company. “Government contracts are a new market for DFF. Our ability to satisfy the stringent requirements and in–plant inspection scrutiny that comes with them is a testament to the talent and commitment of our people. We are proud of the team effort that affords these opportunities to us.” said Butch Wilson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Dickinson Frozen Foods, with production plants in Sugar City and Fruitland, Idaho, employs nearly 500 team members within the state. DFF is the nation’s leading manufacturer and marketer of IQF processed onions. The company also produces and markets IQF roasted vegetables and seasoned fire-roasted potatoes.
